A power user on social media is somebody who shares a lot of information, content and (I hope) authentic stories on their various social networks.

Research has shown that a small percentage of all users shares the  majority of content published on social networks.

Some people call power users over sharers. Usually I found that sentiment to be dominant when content shared is only promotional in nature.

When power users share content that is educational, informational and sometimes inspiring and do that on an ongoing basis their audiences usually do not mind and appreciated.
