Content marketing: Telling Meaningful Stories

Our blogs can drive connections to our social media accounts, too

I know many of us post links – and some of us unfortunately only links – on social media to our blogs.

Click. Click. Click. We are after that click.

But it’s not all about the click – as you’ve heard me say. It’s about connecting with people wherever they are. Sometimes it’s on here. Sometimes on social media. And sometimes in-person.

When people follow me on Twitter I send them an auto DM. Negative feedback is rare, but it does occur. More recently, I’ve started getting notes that indicate that people found my blog first and then connected on Twitter.

It’s another reminder that all channels work together and together can help us build relevant long-term relationships.
