Messaging refers to the (mostly traditional)marketing strategy of coming up with a brand’s message.

Brand messages are often determined in meeting rooms and by marketers or product designers and represent what we want a brand to be and stand for.

While messaging is not necessarily authentic storytelling, it can help storytelling by coming up with clear and concise messages or taglines that fit in with an organization’s authentic story.
