Of course it’s quite a bit more complicated than that. Just because the powers that be at Wikipedia  are reviewing a page doesn’t mean that they will approve it. They are looking at the noteworthiness of the content and the way it’s presented and sourced.

Not every person belongs on Wikipedia neither does every event. So make sure to read the Wikipedia rules on what can be added and what shouldn’t be added. Also overly promotional copy likely won’t be approved.
