My Day 1 selfie when I started at MedTouch in April 2014.
Three and a half years ago, MedTouch Chief Strategy Officer Sandra Fancher hired me to lead content marketing efforts at MedTouch, a digital marketing agency that focuses on the healthcare industry. It’s been an awesome ride, but like many great rides, at some point they come to an end or you hop on a different ride.

Because of personal experiences, MedTouch helps healthcare systems create better digital experiences for patients. It’s such a great reason to be doing the work and a truly authentic story.

Yup, totally burying the lead here, my friends, but we’ll get there. First off, I’m thankful to the MedTouch team for allowing me to grow a service line, for the great team members and also for all the great clients coast to coast in the United States.

I’ve learned so much from all of them and it’s been awesome. Helping so many organizations also enabled me to learn a lot that I would have never learned working within just one system. Of course, everyone then benefited from this knowledge – including myself. We all learned together and made the patient experience better!

And while it’s been fun, educational and I enjoy my innovative and awesome co-workers, I have decided to move to ScribbleLive  as their Vice President of Content Marketing Strategy, Americas.

ScribbleLive is a software company committed to helping companies win through content.

So while I’m leaving MedTouch and related healthcare clients, I’m not stepping away from content marketing, storytelling, and related things at all. I will continue to do content marketing strategy engagements across North, Central and South America. More on that later, but in the meantime, be assured, that this blog will continue. My engagement with all of you, the content marketing community and anyone who wants to tell better stories will go on. The things that will change are that I’m moving back out of healthcare and I’ll be able to draw on the awesome ScribbleLive content marketing software for my strategies.

Keep in mind that authentic storytelling isn’t healthcare specific, but is industry agnostic. It did and does work perfectly in healthcare because healthcare has a lot of great and authentic stories. Healthcare professionals can make a difference. Previously, I’ve implemented the system in the media world, banking and nonprofits and with others. The more organizations tell authentic stories, the better!
